I decided that it had been WAY too long since I'd last dropped in a note, so let me just say...

I LOVE LAC DU BOIS FOSSTON NOW AND FOREVER!!!!!!! I just had the best summer of my life. Four weeks of heavenly french emersion, I don't know that anything could even begin to compare, not even my four weeks of heavenly french emersion from last summer. It was great. chouette. unforgettable.

since it's been so long let me just provide a little update:

Clearly I had a great summer. I made a lot of friends and all that jazz. It rocked.

I saw a bunch of movies. Just to list a few...

How to Deal
Finding Nemo

I discovered new music (KYO. It's in French, but who cares. They're these beautiful ballads about breakups.)

I lost some weight, and some braces (FINALLY!!! Three and a half years with braces is three years, five months 30 days, and 23 hours too many)

I dyed my hair red.

I grew more confident (in many aspects).

And I came out of all of it alive.

I got a 39/40 on a math test, the best I've done since, like, 5th grade. That's probably not a good thing.

It's 9th period. I'm in study hall. I want a laptop.

It occured to me that it's been way to long since I last updated, I'm even worse than Len at this point (which, might I add, is quite an accomplishment).

I finally bought the book I've been dreaming about for three or four months now, "Live From New York: an uncensored history of Saturday Night Live." It's fabulous. 575 pages of behind the scenes SNL stories. I'm still in the first five years on page 186. I love Jimmy Fallon. I've said that already, haven't I? It's autographed by it's authors, too!

We need a new episode of "Gilmore Girls"! We don't get one until April. That's a sweeps month for goodness sake! The last new episode was in a sweeps month.

I don't have much else to say.

P.S. Did you see Weekend Update on SNL this week? Congress this week voted to rename french fries and french toast freedom fries and freedom toast. They celebrated this by freedom kissing each other. In a follow up story, the French have voted to rename American Cheese Idiot cheese. I love SNL.
